THE BRAVEST STUNTMAN IN THE WORLD
The Bravest Stuntman in the World is a documentary feature film that exposes the harrowing truth behind John Taylor’s infamous motorcycle stunt in 1980s Liverpool. Known for attempting one of the world’s most dangerous and illegal jumps over two high-rise tower blocks, John’s motivations transcended everything. His stunt was a desperate cry for justice, an act of defiance born out of years of silence; it was his last hope to build a platform where he could be heard.
Today, he’s on a mission to lift the lid on an even bigger failure at the heart of the UK’s government, a mission that will stop his story ever being repeated.
Produced by Rory Rooney and Eight Trick Pony, with Archive Producer Dan Kilroy (Super/Man: The Christopher Reeve Story), The Bravest Stuntman in the World is the directorial debut of Andrew Michael Carruthers.
The Bravest Stuntman in the World is a rallying cry about what it costs to be ignored, and how far one man was forced to go to make the world listen.
